Dolce Gelato is the proud creation of Pino Luca
Pino, originally from Calabria, Italy, learned the art of gelato-making from his family. Inspired by tradition, he developed a variety of recipes that honor his roots while bringing a fresh and creative twist to classic Italian gelato and sorbet.
At Dolce Gelato, we proudly use 100% natural ingredients and never add preservatives. Our milk-based gelatos are rich in calcium and lower in fat than regular ice cream. We also offer soy-based vegan options, and all our gelato and sorbet products are gluten-free.
The first Dolce Gelato shop opened in Toronto’s Little Italy and quickly gained a loyal following. With strong community support, we expanded to Greek Town, where the response has been just as warm.
In addition to our gelato, we specialize in Italian coffee made by expert baristas. Their skills have been recognized nationally, earning top placements in Canadian barista championships. Every cup and scoop reflects our passion for quality, tradition, and excellence.
